Senior Photo Tip: Picking the Right Outfits
Being unsure about what to wear for your senior photo session is probably one of my seniors biggest concerns. Probably because you’re not sure what locations are out there. Figuring out locations and outfits is something I talk to my seniors a lot about and that starts at the senior photo consultation. During a consultation, I show you LOTS of location options and we discuss. Then you have time to find outfits that fit your favorite locations before you senior photo session!
When thinking about outfits, it is essential to choose outfits that not only reflect your style but also flatter your unique body shape. Whether you're tall, petite, curvy, or athletic, there are ways to highlight your best features and feel confident in front of the camera. Senior photos are a celebration of who you are, so choose outfits that make you feel like the best version of yourself.
Here are a few tips for selecting outfits for your senior photo session:
Pick a variety of types of outfits (Example: Dress + Jeans & Top + Romper + Top & Skirt + Something Trendy)
Select outfits that you can move in. I have my seniors moving a lot during their senior photo session.
Pick items that make you feel amazing in and leave your baggy clothes at home.
Include undergarments that support you and don’t peek out.
Don’t be afraid of colors, patterns or accessories.
One outfit per location.
Add props that show off your passions.
