hey friend! i’m Sarah

I’m so glad you’re here! I’m excited to get to know you and create your dream senior photo session.

I love showing my seniors their beauty. New locations, nature, fashion, and color combinations inspire me to create something different for my seniors. Every senior is different, and your senior photos should be unique like you are!

When I’m not working full time or being a photographer, you’ll probably find me doing home improvement projects, riding my scooter around town, playing with my fur babies Pam, Dwight, and Angela or watching The Office for the umpteenth time.

  • My biggest fear was feeling too awkward and not being able to take pictures. I did feel awkward at the beginning but Sarah really helped me feel more comfortable. I really liked being able to get pictures with my dog and I enjoyed listening to music throughout it. I would tell my best friend to definitely get her pictures done by Sarah. It was really fun!

 FAQs

  • You get to select your senior photos, not me!

After your session, we’ll meet again at the Image Premiere. You’ll be able to see the images from your session (I’ll remove the duplicates and unflattering photos first) and pick your favorites for final edits.

  • Shoot day to Image Premiere is usually the same week. After the Image Premiere, I perform final edits on the images you select. Those usually take one week, two weeks max.

From shoot to receiving all of your images is usually 2-4 weeks!

  • Yes. I think a contract is super important for you and me, especially since $ is involved. The contract outlines policies around rescheduling, weather issues, payments and image delivery. It also outlines what happens if I don’t deliver.

If a photographer doesn’t have one of these, run!

  • Yes, I always make sure to have multiple camera bodies, lenses, memory cards, etc. I have had equipment break at a session and was thankful that I had backup equipment!

  • No, but I think it is really important! I work with hair and makeup artists than understand that my seniors want natural looks. These artists are magicians, ensuring that the makeup stays in the KS heat and the curls hold in the wind!

  • I recommend one outfit per location. We usually spend 30 minutes at one location. For a three hour session, I would recommend 4-5 outfits.
